This second Paravidyā-mālā volume brings together more transcribed seminars and talks, along with a section of a few assorted attempts at the poetic expression I’ve composed on occasion. The first section, Śrīmad Bhāgavatam Scrapbook, serves as a sort of continuation of Part 4 from Paravidyā-mālā, Volume One. The next section, A Small Collection of Poems, includes some attempts at praise songs, memorial poems, and a few reflections on individual verses of the Bhagavad-gītā.

The Food and Community seminar is a bit experimental, exploring different ways that food and community are related, particularly in the practice of Kṛṣṇa-bhakti. Next Vedic Culture: Spiritually Oriented Society consists of three informal presentations on yajña, yoga and bhakti visions.

The next section, Oṃ Śānti Śānti Śānti, has two parts, the first of which is a discussion on how we may appreciate the presence of śānta-rasa in the Bhagavad-gītā. Finally, Teachings of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura is a transcription of a short seminar I gave on the—for me fascinating—contributions of our previous ācārya to our understanding of spiritual life.
